We Don’t Leave Afghanistan Alone Beyond 2014, French Ambassador

Kabul (BNA) French ambassador to Kabul on Wednesday in a news conference considered signing the strategic pacts between Afghanistan and France as a sign of longer commitment of France with Afghanistan. 
The pact was signed between the two countries during the visit of Afghan president Hamid Karzai from Europe. 
In the news conference the French ambassador Bernard Bozhme said, “Based on the pact, France will increase its assistance to Afghanistan.” 
He added according to the pact, we would cooperate with Afghanistan in various infrastructure programs as improvement of agriculture and Afghan security forces. 
He said France would not leave Afghanistan alone after 2014 and a number of French troops would stay in the country for training of Afghan security forces. 
The ambassador further said the pact needs to be approved by the parliaments of the two countries and is for 20 years.
